Well I can always use one. Are you stuck? Do you need some inspiration? Or are you maybe wondering what to do next with your supplies? Well GLITTER GIRL is ready to fly  in and rescue you. I love seeing her pull out her supplies and talk her way through her creative process. It is so inspiring and I always have oodles of ideas after having viewed one of her videos. Now did you know she has a new workshop at TwoPeasInABucket. Well, she has.

So what it this workshop all about. It a survival guide to scrapbooking. It will get you out of your slumps or just tickle your creativity. It is packed full of amazing inspiration: 42 layouts , 10 videos etc ...

I'm giving away one spot in the class. Just leave a comment in the comment section (don't forget to mention your peaname). I'll be choosing a lucky winner next week Monday.

Catching up

28 September 2013

I have some catching up to do. Like always September is one of the busiest months. I be glad when it is October as it'll be a lot quieter.

First here is a sneak of my layout for the Cutting Edge Class at Studio Calico. You can still enrol now but hurry as subscriptions end on the 30th (September) .

I also have a winner for the Garderners' Digest giveaway. I'll be in tpuch soon.

And finally I have a layout to share. I was contacted a couple of weeks ago by Natt from Skipping asking if I wanted to show case some of their products. Well of course I wanted to. They have the cutest embellishments ever. On this layout I used some pink candy dots and a puffy camera sticker.

And last but not least, I am happy to be contributing to an awesome online course. POPS&COLOUR
It is a 6 week workshop all about creating personalized backgrounds. It is available in French AND in English. Just hop over to Shirel's blog for more information and to buy the workshop.

SUPPLIES used in the layout:

Will add it as soon as the TwoPeas site it up and running.

CUTTING EDGE

25 September 2013

I was thrilled when I was asked to contribute to the Cutting Edge Class over at Studio Calico. It is an amazing class and even more because it is all about the Silhouette Cameo. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that machine and it has been the best investment ever.

I am really honoured to be amongst this bunch of talented ladies.

Look at that cute stamp
I am still working on my layout but will have a sneak REALLY SOON. Don't hesitate to sign up. It is a FAB class. Visit the Studio Calico site HERE for more information.

Dream

23 September 2013

My two youngest are the sweetest children ever. They get on so well together (but can also fight quite a bit too). Elouan looks up to his older brother and is always trying to do the same. It is so cute but can be pretty annoying too. If Robin is wearing a shirt and he has a t-shirt, he won't wear it. If Robin goes to music lessons, Elouan wants to go too and he'll have a tantrum because he can't. Some days they are so tired that they cuddle up on the sofa, watch TV and sometimes they fall asleep together. I just had to take a picture of it. They are so cute.

This weekend we also celebrated Elouan's 4th birthday. He was so excited and I was nervous because I promised to make him a fire engine cake. Well it turned out pretty well although I am going to look for a different icing recipe, one that hardens a bit more. This weekend we'll be having a second party and I'm going to try and make a pirate cake.

Gardeners' digest

22 September 2013

coming from Céline's blog

The 22nd day of September which means it is time for another Gardeners' digest. It is officially autumn and I hope this last week will be a sunny one. I love preparing this hop but it also reminds me how fast time flies because I have the impression I just wrote the last Gardeners' digest post. Well let's have a look at all that has caught my eye this month ...

The gallery at TwoPeasInABucket is full of AMAZING work. I just love browsing through it and admiring all the talent. This is what caught my eye. I love this page for several reasons: the first is that it has lots of photographs, something I always struggle with. At the same time there is still lots of detail, colour and pattern. Just love it.

 1. Polka Dot Party. Just LOVE LOVE LOVE this collection. Everything about it is stunning. The patterns, the colour combinations just everything. I thought Neapolitan would be my all time Dear Lizzy fave but Polka Dot Party is up at the top with it.

2. Crate Paper photo overlays. I still love these and was so happy to see more of them in the new collections. I got both packets from the Close Knit and Flea Market collections.
3.  We all need albums for our layouts and I have my eyes set on this new album. It's calling my name ...
4. I was really impressed with some of the new WE R MEMORY KEEPERS collections and this Autumn one caught my eye. There is just something about those colours that I find really pretty. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

5. I AM GOING TO BUY ALL OF THESE. Dies by Technique Tuesday. I think they are AWESOME.

Well I am still working on it but here is a look at some of the products I'll be using ...

As there is so much new product coming out I thought I'd give a 10$ gift voucher away. All you have to do is leave a comment in the comment section and don't forget to mention your peaname.

I also wanted to tell you to KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN as 2Peas has something AWESOME coming up. Want a hint what it is about? Well it has to do with Glitter and that is ALL I'll say ....

Happy hopping and Happy Scrapping.

NEXT STOP ....  Melissa.

Scraptastic September kits

19 September 2013

September is always one of the busiest months. Getting back into our school routine isn't easy. Add to that all the extra activities like soccer, trumpet and music lessons and we are left with HECTIC week days. Finding some me time is crucial. Scrapbooking helps me unwind and keep my sanity. Tomorrow is Elouan's big day. He is turning four. We'll be having a party on Saturday and an other one next week. I had the crazy idea of making a fire engine cake. So tomorrow I'll be baking and icing THE cake. Elouan is SO excited.
I put the EVERYBODY TALKS kit to one side to work with the other September kits from Scraptastic. I fell in love with the aqua patterned paper from Maggie Holmes and knew I'd keep the colours really simple. LOVE how it turned out with the frames.
